Running Man Chinese Delivery

Episode 92:
Guests: Chun Jung Myung (actor), Park Jin Young (JYP) (singer, songwriter, producer, CEO of JYP Entertainment (2AM, 2PM, Rain, Miss A, Wonder Girls, etc.)).
Location: Chinatown, Muui Island, Somuui Island, Incheon.
Teams: Jong Kook-Ji Hyo-Haha; Chun Jung Myung-Jae Suk-Gary; Park Jin Young-Suk Jin-Gary.
Episode mission: Deliver the black bean noodle order from the Chinese restaurant.
Order race: Race to take the delivery order. Winners, in order, choose one of three items, only one of which is the real noodles, and depart for the next location.
Wooden chopsticks challenge (Jamjindo dock): From a distance, identify what's inside the delivery container (ramyun, heating charcoal, disposable camera). Dance wearing a step indicator to get closer to see it better (1 step = 1 millimeter). Winners, in order, choose one of three items, only one of which is real chopsticks, and depart for the next location taking the ferry.
Pickled radish challenge (Hanagae beach, Muuido): One team member immerses his head in water while the other 2 wear a paper couples bracelet and find 2 of 2 different items, indicated by the PD, placed in the many bungalows on the beach. Winners, in order, choose one of three items, only one of which is the real pickled radishes, and depart for the next location, ultimately taking ATVs, bicycles, or walking, in order of arrival.
Order claim sticker elimination (Somuuido): Each team receives a Running Man sticker and places it under one member's nametag. Rip off nametags to eliminate other team members and acquire all 3 Running Man stickers to win and deliver the black bean noodles to the customer.
Comments: The bridge they cross to go from Muui to Somuui island might be brand new, as it doesn't show up on either satellite images or online maps. The beach with the bungalows is on the west coast of Muuido.
- Funny: Ji Hyo watched the ep. 90 broadcast (she references Suk Jin's eliminations as being the real start of the race).
- JYP's songs have been used as background music in past episodes, most often The House You Live In associated with Suk Jin getting grief from other members (including in this episode). Miss A's Touch (used in this episode) was also penned by JYP.
- Funny: they actually went and recorded the song JYP came up for the Easy Brothers for this episode. (NB: "Easy Brothers" was coined in ep. 68 and comes from the combination of Lee Gwangsoo and Ji Suk Jin's last names, "Lee" (pronounced "ee" in Korean) and "Ji" (the Korean pronunciation of the English "zy", i.e. Minzy and Suzy are pronounced "Minji" and "Suji")).
- Suspicious: the guests are supposedly a surprise, but there's a short cut that looks like an editing mistake of Jae Suk talking with Chun Jung Myung inside the room where he had been waiting and comes out of, and it looks like it was before the shoot.
- Winning and choosing the real item in the earlier missions don't give any cumulative advantage and are meaningless to the final race, where it's winner-takes-all. Not a big deal, it's entertainment; a minor design flaw.
- The Muuido challenge is similar to the Dorido challenge in ep. 67, which I personally thought was annoying and sadistic, but the idea kinda sorta works better in this episode.

Episode 93: part 1
Location: Gyeonggi Province (various locations).
Episode race: Members vote which member they wantvoted off the island eliminated in 3 out of 4 rounds. The member with most votes becomes the target of the round and must be eliminated by everyone else within 30 minutes, otherwise everyone surviving proceeds to the next round. If the chosen member survives the round, that person get 2 votes in the subsequent round. If eliminated, the person who ripped off the nametag gets 2 votes in the next round. Round One (KEPCO Arts Center); Round Two/Three (Gwacheon National Science Museum).
Round Four elimination (Gwacheon Seoul Land): Surviving members free-for-all to rip off nametags, while looking for the "angels" who might be a disadvantage or a benefit. The angels voted beforehand to whom they would give the benefit, otherwise they would give the disadvantage. Cameos, leading up to being guests: Hyuna (4minute), Suzy (Miss A), Krystal (f(x)), Gyuri, Han Seungyeon (Kara).
Comments: Viewer survey revealed rating which of the super powers from ep. 74 was the most popular among fans. Gwacheon National Science Museum was the Running Man location for eps. 4 and 5. Gwacheon Seoul Land is right next to (directly north of) the National Museum of Contemporary Art, location of ep. 10. The five idols were billed as guests for this episode, but their role was really so small that they were more like cameos with their guest appearances in the next episode. Jaesuk alternatively calls Krystal by her Korean name, Soojung (and no wonder, look at her nametag. "Krystal" in Korean is like 4 characters long!).

Running Man Gets Married

Episode 94: part 2
Location: Seoul (various locations).
Guests: Hyuna (4minute), Krystal (f(x)), Suzy (Miss A), Gyuri, Seungyeon (Kara).
Couples: Haha-Suzy; Jong Kook-Hyuna; Suk Jin-Ji Hyo; Gary-Krystal; Jae Suk-Seungyeon; Gwang Soo-Gyuri.
Introductory race: Running Man men must look for the person they were coupled with by Jong Kook the night before and find them within 100 seconds to prevent them from drinking the flower tea.
Electronics store mission: Answer quiz questions to win electronic appliances. Win two appliances to pass the mission.
Shinsegae department store, Gangnam branch: Wedding photo photozone.
Seogang Bridge race: Complete challenges in segments along the bridge catwalk. Passing a segment challenge allows them to continue to the next location, failing requires continuing on to the next segment.
Mokdong Wedding Palace elimination: Remove other couples' couples gloves to eliminate them. First to arrive gets a secret one-time elimination deflection band protection which eliminates whoever removes their couples glove.
Comments: The men's reaction to hearing "flower tea" in the introductory race is sourced in ep. 55 and 56.
- There has been a sea change in Running Man on-screen personal interrelations as neither Suk Jin nor Ji Hyo are the least bit fazed at being coupled together, and even get along.
- It's true, they're not kidding around, Haha really was born in Germany.
- The quiz in the electronics store looks modeled off a segment from another variety show that's already cancelled, most often translated in English as "Bouquet" or "Flower Bouquet". Kara, Miss A and 4minute often appeared on that show, although that's not necessarily why the production team chose to use the game. It's probably a pretty common game format on variety shows. If they were referencing the girl groups' appearances on that show, the game would've been played piggy-backed.
- The photozone game is an old Running Man game, last played regularly in ep. 7, but also came up again in ep. 53.
- The Seogang Bridge race format is similar to the Great Wall race in ep. 61. For the aerial shots, they use a remote control flying camera, possibly an "opticopter", that can sometimes be seen in the background from the bridge cameras. No wonder Gary is still single. He complained about Jessica, got frustrated with Hyomin, and now makes Krystal feel bad for eating. Couldn't even hold onto Ji Hyo (j/k).
- It's possible the production team realized the mistake from the Chinese delivery episode, where winning the earlier races gave no advantage in the final race, and corrected that with the deflection band for the first to arrive at the final location.
- To date, Amber is the only member of f(x), and Nicole the only member of Kara to have not appeared on Running Man (both of whom are first language English speakers). I vote for an episode with Amber, Nicole, plus Tiffany (also first language English) and maybe Sooyoung (the two SNSD members who haven't appeared) as guests when they next feature girl group idols. Perhaps a mission design where their English ability is crucial to clues, but the clues too difficult for them to figure out from English alone ;) . . . and make them spies!

War of the Gods

Episode 100:
Guests: Kim Hee Sun (actress).
Location: Seoul (riverside park, Mecenatpolis).
Chariot of the Gods race (Han River riverside park): The Running Men and guest compete in a chariot relay race against Dong Wan FD, who rides the entire distance on a child's bicycle with training wheels. At each relay point, the Running Man who just pulled the chariot, boards and rides it for the remainder of the race. If they lose, two members are voted on to remain human. If they win, they all become gods in the final elimination.
War of the Gods elimination (Mecenatpolis mall): The Running Men are given Greek god identities as well as weaknesses that can be used to defeat them (Kim Hee Sun-Aphrodite ("exposure"); Jae Suk-Poseidon (water); Ji Hyo-Athena ("ankle"); Haha-Eros (kiss); Gary-Apollo ("stigma"); Suk Jin-Hermes ("clone")). No one knows the others' weaknesses or what weapons will work against whom. Search the rooms in the mall for specific weapons to eliminate the other gods. After the Pandora's boxes are released, search for them to reveal which weaknesses belong to whom (and therefore which weapons will work).
Comments: The all-green suit Jae Suk wears in the intro was a gift from Haha in ep. 60. The clothing worn by the extras and VJs look modeled on Roman togas, but the gods' names are Greek. The only Roman god mentioned is Cupid, the Roman counterpart for Eros. There are inconsistencies in the episode regarding how the members are gaining information which affects what they do, so there are things that look illogical, but it's possibly just a case of poor editing (for example Ji Hyo chasing someone in one scene, but then not going after him a little later while; and also one member seeming to figure out who is Poseidon, but then is suspicious of someone else being Poseidon later). In other episodes, it may have been suspicious that members conveniently and coincidentally never got items that targeted themselves, but it finally does happen. So I think it's plausible in previous episodes that it was just coincidence.

Episode 101:
Location: Seoul (various locations).
Guests: Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Bum Soo (singers), Yoon Do Hyun (YB Band).
Team forming Find the Guest (Seoul Children's Grand Park): Jae Suk-Gwang Soo-Yoon Do Hyun; Gary-Haha-Kim Bum Soo; Jong Kook-Suk Jin-Yoon Jong Shin.
Episode mission: Ji Hyo (or Chun Sung Im, her legal name) is instructed to steal the gold shown in the introduction and follow instructions and reach the final location. Running Men must track down Ji Hyo to recover the gold.
Han River heliport and dock (Jamsil) mission: Ji Hyo must find the secret agent who can give the proper response to her passphrase, receive a mysterious black acrylic plate, then follow instructions to the next destination. Running Men are given a smartphone map of where Ji Hyo went and if they fail to catch her, they must compete in a game of limbo and select cases in order of completion for the next destination.
Sailboat restaurant mission: Ji Hyo must find the secret agent, receive the black acrylic plate, but then find the real key in the restaurant to the red car and proceed to the next destination. Running Men look for a hidden note using "CSI equipment" while "not contaminating the crime scene" to find the next destination.
Sangbong Bus Terminal mission: Ji Hyo must buy a bus ticket and then find the secret agent disguised as a bus driver, receive the black acrylic plate, and head to the final destination. Running Men must use information about a "witness who saw Ji Hyo" to create a composite sketch, and then find that person by singing one of the guests' songs to him or her and getting the proper response to be told the location of the final destination.
Korea Institute of Science & Technology elimination: Ji Hyo must find the secret agent using the same passphrase/response as before, but in an amazing plot twist (those are sarcasm italics) is told that the gold she's carrying is fake. Running Men are given surveillance photos of Ji Hyo as a hint. Apparently it becomes all about the acrylic plates and finding the remaining ones to locate the real gold.
Comments: Yoon Do Hyun's second appearance (Sherlock Holmes mystery). Find the Guest race was likely guided, if not staged. Suspicious: aside from the children in the park, the Running Man shooting doesn't attract crowds like in other episodes. People are even seen just walking away. The heliport scene was likely staged, simply because safety concerns make it doubtful that scene would've been allowed to be shot in the usual free-form Running Man manner. The selection of cases according to completion of challenges is meaningless as none give any advantage or disadvantage.
Editorializing (and bitching) with spoilers:
- The Running Men are supposedly given a "tracking device" to find Ji Hyo, but it's just a smartphone map. Once the Running Men saw Ji Hyo leave in the helicopter, the only reason they would continue to the location the "tracking device" indicates her position was if they asked the PD, "Well, now what?", and he told them to just go over there anyway and make stuff up about how she might still be there. Ji Hyo being told she's carrying a "tracking device" and leaving her phone at that location was likely a scripted ruse to get the Running Men over there to perform the mission. I might suggest that their being told to pretend it's a tracking device of her actual location is not a little insulting to the viewer, as it's the same screenshot of the map when they got into the cars. Real GPS tracking was used in ep. 65.
- Editorial: It seems that this episode is another attempt, similar to ep. 87, where the production team incorporates drama elements (i.e., fake, staged, scripted, guided) into the Running Man mission style in furtherance of some kind of "plot" (for lack of a better word). The artifice that the criminals sent Ji Hyo on a fake mission to further their criminal scheme is just ridiculous if intended to be believed. Ji Hyo's mission was obviously the episode design from the start, and dressing it up as part of the criminals' scheme, I dunno, it just seems wrong for a show that's popular for spontaneity and unpredictability based on the casts' characters and talents.
- Editorial: Granted there's plenty in this episode that fans will like, but personally I think it would have been better without the artifice and the trying-too-hard-to-be-clever on the part of the production team, but just as a simple race to catch the thief with an elimination with a twist at the final destination. Once the spy "plot" element is revealed, the episode kinda falls apart for me and it collectively becomes unclear how who is supposed to do what (Ji Hyo looks dazed for the rest of the episode after it; like all her effort she put in was for nothing (and maybe also because it wasn't gold)). The genuine Running Man elements in this episode are great, but what started as a great episode, in my opinion, quickly degenerated because of the artifice into one of the most unsatisfying episodes. The production team should just design the missions, including whatever it takes to keep the show interesting and themselves interested, but then let the Running Men do their stuff. Leave the script writing for dramas.

is the fictional county of Midsomer and its various little villages: Badger's Drift, Martyr Warren, Haddington, and many others -as well as the larger county town, Causton, where DCI Tom Barnaby lives with his wife, Joyce, and daughter, Cully. As with most shows of the cozy genre, it is ever amazing how many seemingly normal people are willing to commit murder for one odd reason or another. We watched murder and mayhem for years on Murder, She Wrote and just imagine, it's been going on all along in England, too. I tell you, I could watch the BBC every day and be perfectly happy. Having watched every season of MI-5, I've moved on from terrorism to more mundane crimes on Midsomer Murders. It's available for free on AmazonPrime and I've watched five or six episodes - and so far, it has not disappointed. It's not so much mysterious, thrilling suspense as it is the mildly humorous business of the classic whodunit. DCI Barnaby is a good judge of people and does most of his work through observation rather than direct questioning of the suspects. His assistant, Detective Sergeant Troy, is good sidekick material and provides a good deal of comic relief with his lack of driving skills and brilliant perception of the obvious. The coroner, George, is almost too good-natured for a man who spends the vast majority of his time with dead bodies. Mrs. Barnaby cannot cook, much to her husband's chagrin, but is passionately interested in the arts and the theatre. Their daughter, an actress, appears to be more like her father. And then there's the oddball cast of what seems like thousands: the victims, suspects and various other individuals who inhabit the fictional jurisdiction of the thoroughly likeable fictional detective. Midsomer Murders is not only entertaining and funny, it's lots of fun, too. Check out the pilot episode, and if you're even remotely a fan of Agatha Christie, you'll be hooked.

than one would think. Yes, I admit to hoarding a few cookbooks, but they are all stored neatly in the cupboard over my range hood. My friend (who shall not be named) is a self-confessed hoarder who has vowed to get her life in order this year. I've been promising some inspiration photos for my friend's own kitchen for some time now - and having completed my annual spring cupboard purge, I have decided to post them here for her on our little blog.
I am fortunate to have a fairly large pantry in the kitchen and I was merciless when I sorted it out - if I hadn't used it in a year, away it went. Crockpot, toaster, you name it - gone to new homes. I'm still sort of a hoarder when it comes to provisions - but I prefer to think of it as having a well-stocked pantry.
Baking pans, mixing bowls, mixer. I try to make use of plastic bins to organize like items and keep the clutter to a minimum. Lord, I'm sounding like Martha Stewart...
Silverware drawer just above the baking cupboard. Yes, I got rid of the ugly white plastic trays and went with the pretty bamboo. I think it just makes putting things away more fun. Really.
As you can see, I hid the ugly-after-I-really-looked-at-it Keurig cup carousel. It was a good idea in theory, but not so visually pleasing to have on the kitchen counter. I also pared down my glassware to six glasses and four teacups. No - five! I moved one to the top shelf with my antique coffee pot.
I've discovered that the drawer under the oven makes a great spot to store canned goods, rice and soup mixes. My panini grill is also tucked in there out of sight - along with my little frying pan.
Some of these cupboards are so small and oddly shaped that it's a challenge to make good use of them. Two plastic bins fit nicely in this one: I use the top for foil, waxed paper and zip-loc bags; the bottom is for baking mixes and oil. Also a great place to stash the peanut butter!
This small drawer has turned out to be perfect for spices and other cooking necessities. The can opener, pizza cutter, and measuring cups have finally found a permanent home here as well.
Under the sink is pretty ugly, but the storage bins help corral bags, water filters and cleaning supplies. Unfortunately, it's the only space where the pizza stone and a couple of platters will fit.
Finally, I've pared down a multitude of dishes to one set of Mary Engelbreit stoneware and one tea cup and saucer of each ME design. The top shelf is a great space for my colorful colander and a couple of rarely-used snack baskets. I like opening a cabinet and seeing color and organization! I hope my little kitchen tour encourages you to purge, organize and beautify an everyday space!

That's the question I've been asking myself all day today - and what did I accomplish this month? On the surface it doesn't look like I did much, but I am all caught up on the bookkeeping I let slide during tax season, the spring cleaning is done (yes, I know it's summer...) and I finished my photo scanning project. So I have been working hard, just not working very hard at blogging or writing.Which I plan to begin again in earnest - tomorrow.
I've also spent my evenings reading. I discovered M.C. Beaton and her Agatha Raisin mystery series. And her Hamish MacBeth mystery series. Very Agatha Christie in style and substance. I like them both very much - the only problem is that I am waiting on Agatha Raisin book number nine - I found a used copy for cheap - and the postal service keeps disappointing me! I've read some Hamish MacBeth in the meantime; his adventures can be read out of order without too much disruption to the continuing story line. I'd download the Kindle version, but it really irritates me off that the digital edition is often more expensive than the paperback. I've been getting the paperback versions because then I can share with my book buddies. I know that defeats the purpose of digital books and saving trees and all that, but what can I say? I'm an avid reader, but I'm also a cheapskate!

and it's about time, isn't it? I was doing great, diligently writing a new chapter every day when I started on January first, but then tax season arrived and something had to give. Unfortunately, it was the new adventures of my amateur detective, her hunky husband and their precocious offspring that got put on hold temporarily while I spent the next several months doing paying meaningful work. I'm finally all caught up, the spring summer cleaning is done and I am determined to get back on my chapter-a-day schedule. My goal is a finished mystery by the end of August and with any luck, a free Kindle download for Dead and Dug Up on Amazon by the first of October. Apparently, digital is the new wave of publishing for emerging writers - no agent necessary. We'll see how this goes... If you've been waiting with bated (yes, bated - not baited) breath for a new installment of Dead and Dug Up, check back later this evening on my Piney Point blog for the latest chapter.

spent on patrol with Mr. Monk. I really miss watching Mr. Monk solving murders in his own inimitable way on television, but I have the say that the books have turned out to be even better. The latest paperback release, Mr. Monk on Patrol, is the best one yet. If you're a Monk fan, you know that Randy Disher moved to Summit, New Jersey at the end of the series to be with Sharona. He's the chief of police there and it seems he is having some difficulties with some city corruption. He asks Monk and Natalie to head east and work with him for a few weeks to help catch some serial burglars. I can't spoil the plot, but hilarity ensues, particularly when Mr. Monk meets a lady who runs a gift shop which sells items manufactured from, well, poop. As you might imagine, Mr. Monk is horrified to the point of donning a hazmat suit to extract Natalie from the store. It is purely delightful, purely Monk entertainment from beginning to end. Not a bad way to spend an evening. If you are a Monk fan, check out the mysteries - you will be glad you did!

Why does google chinese translation pop up when im writing emails? PLEASE HELP!?
To contact us Click HERE
When I am writing e-mails in Firefox a little google translation thingy pops up next to my words and makes it very difficult to get anything done. I try to go to option for the toolbar by right clicking on it, and EVERYTHING on the menu is in Chinese. I tried clicking random stuff in the menu hoping one would be exit, but I just end up opening up crazy google.cn searches.
why is google being such a bastard?|||Not sure, but I suspect you have some adware on your machine, probably (just a guess) from China. You might want to run some anti-malware scans.
If you have an anti-virus, make sure it has the latest virus definitions and run a scan with it in Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking. That often prevents malware from protecting itself. If you don鈥檛 have one, many people here swear by AVG (it鈥檚 free).
I suggest you also download Ad-Aware 2008 and Spybot S%26amp;D (they鈥檙e free), install them, update them and run them. If any of the above (or any anti-malware, for that matter) doesn鈥檛 seem to be able to run properly or get rid of everything it reports finding, try running it again in Safe Mode.
Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.
To get into Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking:
1.Log out and reboot your machine.
2.When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3.Select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.
4.Login. If the malware has changed your password, try logging in as Administrator. By default, Administrator has no password.
5.The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.
6.When you're finished doing what you need to do, log out and reboot back into normal mode.
Note that even if the anti-malware programs get rid of the malware, they may not be able to reverse the effects. Search the Web for possible fixes.
Update and run everything regularly, not just when you think you already have malware.
Good luck.

Is there a difference between moo shi and moo shoo?
To contact us Click HERE
I went to a fancy chinese restaurant and had moo shi chicken and it was AMAZING! Since I can't go there that often, I looked on the menu of my local chinese take out and noticed they didn't have moo shi chicken but they had moo shoo beef. Is it the same thing but with beef instead?
Thanks.|||They are probably the same item. Keep in mind that even burger joints make their burgers differently. Both restaurants will use similar ingredients but often fancier places will give you very thin rice flour "tortillas" while lower grade restaurants will give you a wheat tortilla similar to what you'd find in a Mexican restaurant.
Personally, I prefer the thin tortilla and either vegetarian or shrimp Mu Shu (yes, another spelling!). Be sure to dab a small amount of hoisin sauce and use some green onions with your filling.|||One reads like a pepper sneeze and the other reads like a cheese sneeze...

How do I change the language on Windows Vista?
To contact us Click HERE
Ok, so my Laptop was my mum's and it is currently in Chinese, It's a Window Vista Business and I can type in English but the desktop and Menu is in chinese characters so I want to change it to English. I know you go to the control pannel to do it, but once I go on there I can't read any of the different things on the control pannel, so I'm having difficulty changing the language, anyone help? :)|||Try googling a print screen of it? And then try and compare the 2 and see if you can work it out? :)|||With Vista Ultimate it can be in any language, but for other versions of Vista you can buy the language packs from Microsoft. This will change the text in all parts of Windows to the language of your choice. After this, don't forget to change the Region and Language settings in the control panel, and the keyboard settings.|||1) Go to www.froggie.sk
2) Download the Vistalizator (You should save it, not run it just in case you wish to use it again to revert languages as you wish). Open the application and minimize you will need it soon.
3) Under language packs, click the MUI for your operating system (If you do not know your operating system click on the windows logo on the menu bar and type system on the search bar. A list of programs will show, simply click on "system" and a page will open up with the information you need. If you have a service pack 1 installed it will say it).
4) A List of languages will show up, simply click on the language you want to revert vista to and save it in a folder you know how to get to. (If you run it, vista will automatically tell you that your system has reached a limit on the number of languages it is authorized to have).
5) Unminimize or open vistalizator (for those who did not minimize the program), and click on "add languages" and go to the folder you decided to save your MUI language of choice. Once this is done it will install the language. You will now see "internal" language (default one you want to change) and the "express" language (the one you just added.
6) Click on the Language you just added to the list and click "change language." After this I think it will suggest to update the language. If you choose not to it will reboot the computer and when it restarts the language will be changed. That it it!!!
Now for those who want to know how to update the language:
1) Go to www.froggie.com and under program click "download"
2) Save "Windows Update Agent" and "Windows Search 4.0" for your operating system in a known folder.
3) Open vistalizator, highlight the "express" language and click on "update languages" a message will pop up telling you that you need the applications you just saved. Browse one and click ok. Must repeat this step to browse second application.
4) Once done with both applications, click on "update language" and it might update if it has one if not it will tell you that this language has latest update.
